Guatemala 2007
We recently returned from 3 weeks of field work in Guatemala to study wintering Willow Flycatchers. The primary goals of our trip were to estimate winter site fidelity of flycatchers between years and to collect blood and feather samples for genetic and stable isotope analyses that will help to define the wintering distribution for each of the 4 Willow Flycatcher subspecies. We also noted changes in habitat at our study sites between years. Here are a few pictures to check out.
